Privacy Policy

This policy applies to stackwiseconsulting.online, the independent software-stack advisory and review publication operated as Stackwise Consulting. Contact us about privacy at stackwiseconsulting@gmail.com. External sites have their own policies.

The contact form prepares an email in your email application. It does not currently send or store the enquiry through this website. When you send that email, we receive the name, email address, optional business name, selected topic and message you include. Your email provider and our email provider process that communication under their own terms.

We use information you send to respond to your request, discuss a stack audit or other advisory work, and handle editorial questions. Do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal or client data. Any additional information needed for agreed advisory work should be discussed separately.

Website hosting and operational services may process technical information such as IP address, request time, browser information and error details to serve pages, maintain security and diagnose faults. The site loads its typography from Google Fonts, which involves requests to Google and may share technical request information with that provider.

We use Google Analytics 4 only after you accept analytics in our cookie banner, or on later visits with a stored accepted choice. It provides aggregated traffic statistics about page visits and content use. These reports do not identify visitors by name, but the underlying data may include pseudonymous cookie identifiers, browser and device information; it is not guaranteed to be fully anonymous. Google processes analytics data under its own privacy policy. We do not send contact-form information to Analytics, and we disable Google signals and advertising personalisation in our tag configuration.

We store your accepted or declined cookie choice in localStorage under stackwise-cookie-consent. This is a browser preference, not a server-held consent record. See the Cookie Policy for controls and limitations.

After consent, Google Analytics 4 cookies such as _ga and _ga_11VZNXTMH3 measure page visits and content use. No Google Analytics script is loaded if you have not accepted or have declined. Third-party affiliate tracking cookies, including those used by networks such as Impact or AppSumo's partners, may attribute a purchase after you follow an affiliate link. They may process referral IDs, clicked links, device or browser information and transaction attribution data according to their own policies.

The current site does not load an Impact tracking script or set affiliate tracking cookies on its own pages. Our banner cannot control cookies set by a separate destination website. Review that site's consent options and privacy policy before purchasing.

Information may be processed by services used for email, hosting and operation of the site, or disclosed where legally required. Following an external link sends technical request information to the destination provider. We do not sell contact-form enquiry data.

We retain correspondence while it is needed to handle the request or agreed work and for applicable legal obligations. We do not claim a fixed retention period for every provider. Email and hosting providers may operate in other countries; their privacy information describes their processing and safeguards. No communication or storage system is completely secure.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data, object to processing, withdraw consent or complain to a data-protection authority. Email stackwiseconsulting@gmail.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity.

You can withdraw analytics consent by choosing Decline through Cookie settings in the footer; this stops analytics, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies on this site and reloads the page. Alternatively, clear this site's stored choice and cookies through your browser settings and reload; analytics remains off until you accept again. Withdrawal does not erase data already collected. Requests about data held by Google, an affiliate network or vendor should also be directed to that provider.

Our publication and advisory offerings are intended for business readers, not children. If you believe a child has sent personal information, contact us. We will update this policy when our practices materially change and revise its effective date.
